Umar Suleiman Gaya, known professionally as Desquad is a singer, songwriter and a vocalist. Desquad is one of the next rated artist in the northern part of Nigeria. Desquad was born in Gaya LGA, Kano State on 13 September, 2002. He attended Al-hidayah in Lokoja, Kogi State, Al-iman in Lafia, Nasarawa State & Dawakin Tofa Science College, Kano State for his nursery, primary & secondary school. He is currently studying Bsc. Chemistry in Bayero University Kano. In 2020, Desquad started his Musical career with Aw Records. Later on in 2021, he then signed with Dewaemusic Empire where he started releasing his new songs, the likes of (Kolo feat. DMOFFICIAL) , (Foreva feat. OMEGAH), (Alone feat. WAEKAY) & many more.
